Vehicle Description Beautiful 1957 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with 41750 original miles of which 700 miles of this have been put on since a complete restoration.
By getting behind the wheel of this beautiful automobile, you are taking a step back in time.
Whether it is cruising the streets of downtown or on the Interstate, you will be the envy of everyone.
The car has had a total frame off restoration with the body and frame being acid dipped.
There were no signs of the car ever being in a wreck and only one small spot of rust about the size of a quarter.
The car was repainted back to its original color, Dusty Rose using Standox paint.
When the interior was completed, it was done in leather and cloth to match the original upholstery.
The car was restored to museum quality.
There were a few upgrades to the car:
Brake Booster and Master Cylindar, Vintage Air, 4 channel amplifier and radio.
The transmission was swapped out to a 700R4 but the original transmission is included and a custom made radiator with an internal trans cooler was built by Performance & Rod Customs.
The Vintage Air uses the factory air conditioning vents.
These changes were made to improve the safety and comfort and cruising more enjoyable.
The Ride Factory in Pascagoula, Ms.
handled the restoration which took over five years to complete.
The interior was done by Pro Custom Interiors out of Knoxville, Tn.
The stainless was restored by Victor's Polishing Shop in New Orleans, La.
, while the chrome was redone by Advanced Plating out of Nashville, Tn.
The engine work was performed by David's mechanic shop in Theodore, Al.
No expense or time was spared in this frame off restoration.
The body parts were E Coated and the frame was Powdered coated.
The inside of the doors, roof, floors, firewall and quarters were sprayed with Lizard Skin ceramic insulation and sound control.
Documentation and pictures of all work is available.
The car is in such excellent condition that I am afraid of driving it and having someone damage it.
At my age, I would rather have a car that I could enjoy driving.
