Marine Structural Welder

Tradesmen International is currently seeking marine structural welders for a job in San Diego, CA!!
Previous shipyard experience is not required!
We are now testing qualified welders in Pascagoula, MS!!
Pay: $13-$14/hr
Per Diem: 130/day
Duration: Long Term
Hours: 5 - 8's (with plenty of OT)
Qualified welders will have a strong background with flux core and be able to pass the following:
Test 1:
Fillet welds; vertical, horizontal and overhead on a 12 Tee
Horizontal and vertical 3/8 plate with backing strip using 811N3 .052 wire (U.T. Tested)
1 Fillet plate for break test (overhead)
Test 2:
3 plates with ceramic backing tape; vertical, horizontal and flat on 3/4x12 plate using E71-T1 .045 wire.
Test 3:
Work Simulation
Work simulation consists of 8 items using E71-T1 .045 wire; Scalloped Tees, Tee Bars and one Watertight Collar.
Maximum time allowed for getting familiar with the equipment will be one hour.
