TheFirst Chemical Site in Pascagoula, MS has a need for a Chemical Process Engineer . The person in this position will provide support to the specialty batch & pilot Aniline plant facilities. DuPont is a leading producer of aniline intermediates and derivatives. The Chemical Process Engineer - Manufacturing Technology duties include:
Provides technical expertise in one or more technology areas and recognized as a leader in that technology. Leads teams to upgrade processes and products that may range from incremental improvements to major technology changes.
Develops improved process instrumentation and control strategies, process safety, yields, plant capacity and uptime performance.
Work with pilot plant personnel to support production needs.
May serve in a Process Safety Management critical role.
Assists in operations training.

Qualifications:
B.S. Chemical Engineering required.
Strong technical and functional skills.
At least 2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of chemical processes and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
Demonstrated skill in leadership, team building and achieving results through influence and negotiation.
Well-developed technical writing skills.
Demonstrated knowledge in utilization of PC based software particularly Excel program.
Good interpersonal and communication skills must work well in both self-managed and team environment.
