Tradesmen International is currently seeking structural welders for a shipyard position in Pascagoula, MS.

Pay:
1st Class - $24.10/hr; $136/per diem (days worked)
2nd Class- $27.00/hr (no per diem)
To qualify for 1st Class your permanent residence must be a minimum of 75 miles from the job-site. You will also need to provide proof of residence. (utility bill, lease agreement, ect.)
Duration: 9 Months
Hours: 40-50/week
Welders must have at least three years of verifiable structural welding experience.

Test:
Written - Welding defects and general safety. (must pass written test in order to take the weld test.)
Weld - Vertical Stick - 11018 6 in. plate with permanent backing, Vertical Flux core 6 in. plate with permanent backing.
Outside Simulation - Make Up of the boat that requires you to weld overhead, vertical, horizontal & flat. One side will be flux core, the other will be 11018 stick rod.
