# External Job Description
Outside Machinists in the marine environment are responsible for the installation of propulsion machinery, sea valves, steering gear, anchor handling equipment, elevators, pumps, ventilation fans, cooling coils, refrigeration units, compressors, weapons systems, remote operators, radars and antennas. In the process of installing this equipment, experience is gained in the use of math, blueprints, precision tooling, (i.e. micrometers, calipers, indicators) and portable machine tools (i.e. boring bars, facing machines, rail drills). Outside machinists are also familiar with the procedures for precision line boring, precision alignment of machinery, steel chock fitting, bolt fitting, bearing fitting, machinery assembly, surface machining, precision reaming, and machinery and weapons testing.

Must be a high school graduate or have completed your GED.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
