The cases this paralegal will work on include medical malpractice, civil defense, and general insurance defense. Paralegal will be handling files from intake to resolution; extensive trial preparation experience is a must! Main responsibilities will include assisting in the discovery process, drafting legal documents and correspondence, compiling and summarizing medical records, scheduling depositions, pleading, and other duties as assigned. Ideal paralegal candidates will have an undergraduate degree or approved paralegal certificate, hands-on experience working on insurance defense files, top-notch written and verbal communication skills, and advanced technical skills.Other responsibilities include social media research, legal research, and discovery tasks.This firm offers is well established and the position will give the RIGHT candidate the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of attorneys in a specialized field.
