The Environmental Services Aide in the Operating Room maintains environmental and infection control standards within the established policies and procedures of the Health System.
He/She performs a variety of general cleaning and linen tasks within the Operating Room to maintain the rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas.
The Aide performs Terminal Cleaning on each operating room when assigned.
The Environmental Services Aide in the Operating Room, when assigned, also performs tasks outside the Operating Room such as patient room cleaning.
He/She restocks linen carts and assembles linen packs for Surgical Services and Outpatient Surgery.
