Manage the receipt of GFM at SUPSHIP GC; Expedite GFM delayed or received damaged; Prepare and provide material reports. Order, monitor/track, and expedite Store Room Items (SRI), Operating Space Item (OSI), General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) and GUCL to insure receipt and delivery to Sailaway ships through SCN. Work with HII warehouse to track stowage, receipt and inventory of COSAL material to insure warehouse/bin validation and turnover to the ship. Utilizes management reports produced through Real Time Outfitting Material Management Information System (ROMIS) and the incremental stock number sequence list (SNSL)/Load COSAL automated programs to identify potential problems and prioritize area requiring extraordinary management attention. Interface with CAMA and Configuration Data Manager (CDM) concerning Configuration Data Managers' Database- Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) for Material updates and system validations. Thorough working knowledge of typical ILS application programs such as ROMIS-MMS, CDMD-OA, One-Touch, ERMS, WEBFLIS, Haystack, Fed Log, ERP, Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS), and Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS). Maintain DDG 51 historical outfitting data and provide interface for material issues.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED
15 years related relevant expertise in the US Navy Integrated Logistics Support Processes for new construction ships.
Experienced with ROMIS.
Familiar with CDMD-OA database usage and operation.
Experienced with Microsoft Office suite.
Good communications skills both oral and written.
