Position Summary Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, Gulf Coast (SUPSHIPGC) is responsible for contracting and logistics oversight of NAVSEASYSCOM New Construction, Design and Development and/or Overhaul Contracts. Contract labor service are required to support the configuration management, integrated Logistics support, outfitting , technical Logistics programs and Supply Systems Programs in support of new construction, and overhaul contracts under the cognizant of SUPSHIPGC. Under minimal supervision, Provide on-site logistics support for SUPSHIPGC. Serves as the focal local point for all fitting out matters and is responsible for administering and directing fitting out operations for new construction DDG 51 class ships in support of SUPSHIPGC, Code 500. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for managing the fitting out effort to ensure that fitting out material, in accurate quantities for both government and contractor furnished (GF and CF), is provided in accordance with key events and milestones during the construction or availability of an assigned ship. Ensures that fitting out control records and documents are complete and accurate. Material receipt percentages for new construction vessels must be consistent with minimum NAVSEA mandated fitting out goals. Utilizes management reports produced through Real Time Outfitting Material Management Information System (ROMIS) and the incremental stock number sequence list (SNSL)/Load COSAL automated programs to identify potential problems and prioritize area requiring extraordinary management attention. Conducts continual review of work operations and the degree of conformance to schedule dates, milestones and contract requirements. For items that are critical to proper supply support, but not available within the supply system, the incumbent researches and identifies private vendors capable of providing material and request to the Outfitting Supply Activity, NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg, Reviews contractor submittals of GF material discrepancy/inspection reports and take appropriate action to expeditiously resolve the material support problem. Responsible for acquiring fitting out shortages to meet overall NAVSUP/NAVSEA fitting out requirements. Performs property disposal/turn-in functions relative to all government owned and government acquired allowance excess material residual to the shipbuilding contract. Using specific program knowledge in the execution of ILS identification, tracking and reporting. These programs include Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture(CDMD-OA), Weapon System File (WSF), Availability Work Package (AWP), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Real Time Outfitting Material Management Information System (ROMIS), Haystack and Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL). Manage critical material load items such as Damage Control, Sea Trial material requirements and certification material. Review Allowance Equipage List (AEL) and Allowance Parts List (APL) for Weapon System File (WSF) provisioning in reference to DDG 51 class configuration and outfitting support. Monitor and expedite logistics and certification status, maintain management and status reports for New Construction DDG 51 Class hulls. Analyzes moderately complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports to determine requirements. ROMIS MMS) outfitting database in accordance with Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) requirements Provide recommendations for approval of Allowance Change Requests (ACR s) and Conduct Equipment Site validation of Contractor Furnished material(CFE) aboard for new construction DDG 51 Class ships. Interface with CAMA and Configuration Data Manager (CDM) concerning Configuration Data Managers Database- Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) for Material updates and system validations. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in related discipline plus at least 4 years of Integrated Logistics Management. Educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for this position. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Have a strong technical understanding of the DDG 51 new construction Supply Readiness, Configuration Management and Outfitting program Experience in US Navy New Construction and Outfitting techniques, and US Navy Shipboard experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. A security clearance of secret is required after employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
